Here is a video of my Dominique hen limping. She has been in a crate to restrain movement for the week and nothing has helped. I don't see anything on her pads and I can manually move her foot and nothing feels odd. What can it be and what do I do about it?

The video can be seen here (it just links to my dropbox folder) -

When I have had a hen holding her leg up, it is usually a sprain. Look for any swelling or bruising along the leg, just in case it might be broken. Whether it is sprained or broken, it will need several weeks of limited activity. I would crate or cage her with her flock to stay familiar with them for at least 2 weeks, and evaluate her limping week to week. Put her food and water in with her, and add some poultry vitamins and minerals to her feed or water. Some use a chicken sling to keep them upright, and there are many pictures to see if you google that. Let us know how she gets along.
