Noticed one of my chickens, less than a y/o, seeming lethargic, just stands there, lets me grab her (not normal) and looks backwards, seems to want to sleep. Yesterday I did notice her in the coop quite a bit, not out in the run with the others, same today. Any ideas?

Do you have any pictures? How old is she? Is her neck twisted to the side or upward, or is his tucking her head under a wing? Does she lay eggs, and has she laid recently? Can you feel of her crop in her right chest to see if it is empty, full, soft, firm, or puffy? Also can you feel of her lower belly between her legs to see if that area is enlarged, spongy, or tight with fluid? Is she pooping? What do you feed her? Can you try to get her drinking some water, add electrolytes if you have some, and mix a cup of chicken feed plus a lot of water in a bowl and see if she will take some?

She is about 8 mo's old. She gets a layer feed my other 11 chickens are fine. Better video attached. She is a California white, she laid yesterday the 29th and the 27th and 25th before that, so she is consistent. Crop feels empty and nothing off between her legs. She isn't taking food but will take water off of my finger.

I assume she has her neck in a normal postion, and not stuck to the side always? I am just trying to rule out wry neck or torticolis, where the neck is twisted to the side. She could be egg bound or suffering from something internally making her feel terrible. Can you insert a finger just inside her vent to check for a stuck egg? Is she pooping? I would get her drinking water, and if you have a calcium tablet or Tums, give her one whole or crush it into some egg to eat.

But is her neck stuck, or will she move it around if you get her to? Can you pick her up to get her attention, and hold food to her beak, will she then move her head around forward, or is it stuck with a muscle spasm. Just trying to find out if this is wry neck or if she just is holding her neck that way.

If her neck is stuck in that position, does she ever relax it? If she has wry neck, give her 400IU of vitamin E daily. A poultry vitamin such as Poultry NutriDrench can be given 2-3 ml daily, a drop at a time into her beak. Some powder vitamins can be put into the water. She would need help getting enough to est and drink, and she may require being held or wrapped in a towel, while feeding her some very wet chicken feed with a little egg mixed in. Here is a video on feeding:
