One of my hens looks terrible. She has bald patches on he back and head. She is still laying. My other 2 hens look fine, full feather no balding. I'm not sure if this is molding this late in the season. Mites or feather picking. Help

If it is molting, she wouldn’t be laying eggs.. I’d look for lice and mites, if you see nothing, it’s probably feather picking.

How old is she? Have you done a thorough mite/lice inspection including birds and coop? What are they getting for feed? (protein content, mill date on most recent bag of feed, any treats or free range) What is the exact size of your coop and run? Do you have a roo, or just the 3 gals?

There are a few peck marks on her comb. Could she be getting pecked by other chickens, or overmated by a rooster? I would place her in a dog crate with food and water inside the coop with the others, until you figure out what is going on.
