Your Frizzle Polish hen has scaly legs mites. Her feathers are looking tatty because it’s getting to the end of the season and she will be molting soon and getting in a fresh set of feathers.

Thank you guys!! I have some coconut oil on hand so I’ll use that until I can go get some parasite powder and Vaseline. I’ll go ahead and treat all of them, there’s a couple others who’s legs look similar to her’s but not quite as severe

Scaly leg mites. Mix parasite powder with Vaseline and apply to her legs. I'm thinking she is in a hard molt also. You can buy feather fixer food too.

Hey guys! So I just thought I’d post an update on Lightning. I ended up buying some pour on ivermectin and sneaking down there at night and putting some on her and all the other chickens. I’ve only done one treatment a couple months ago and have seen a big difference in her and a few other’s feathers (could be molting is over too) I’m still seeing some scaly leg unfortunately I meant to do a second ivermectin treatment 10 days after the first but time got away from me so I guess I’m going to treat them again and see if that will help with the scaly leg. Here’s an updated pic of her! Her feathers look a million times better at least!
