chicken losing feathers

I have a chicken that is losing feathers around her neck. I also noticed that she hasn't been laying eggs. She is not even a year old. What could this be caused from? Any advise and recommendations would be great! Thank you!

She is most likely moulting. Poultry moult every year, usually in fall or winter, and don't lay whilst moulting.

It sounds to me like she may be molting. I have a Brown Leghorn hen who's less than a year old and she's definitely molting. They stop laying when they molt, too. Here's an informative article: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/what-happens-when-chickens-molt.

I was reading something about how it could also be caused from parasites and she did have mites a month ago. I did treat her with a flea and tick preventative, but now I've noticed the feathers and no eggs. I have 2 other hens and they haven't lost feathers and are still laying.

I have a chicken losing feather all over too, and the others are not. Do they lose them same time
or are the all different. Her feathers are growing back and about 1-1.5 inches.
