Chicken losing feathers

I have multiple chickens losing feathers this one is losing feathers on its wing and on its neck is this just it molting or is it something else?

It looks like molting but you should look them over good for lice and mites.

About a year old a little less

I'd say its more likely a pecking issue, tho might be molting.

It looks to me as if the feather stubs are not pin feathers coming in... but are bitten off shafts.

Hard for me to see it clearly enough in the photo.

But, I would suggest you google pin feather photos, then go out and see what you have.

If those are bitten off feather shafts, then I would suggest you increase roosting space,increase coop space, increase run space or add a roof to the run.... and start feeding them 20% protein.

If it continues after all of that, you can try pinless peepers on the culprit, or eat her.
