Hi everyone. I'm not an owner, breeder, or shower of chickens, nor do I live on a property that has room for them. I am an unfortunate urban apartment dweller with three cats. But I love chickens! And I'm happy to be here to see all the wonderful chickens, to learn a ton of information, and dream of buying a house somewhere with a back yard. And a front yard. And oh, why not dream big? A side yard too! (I miss having a yard, can you tell?)

I grew up on a farm with skinny brown chickens, and a very huffy rooster so I wasn't allowed to go near the chickens. The chicks, however, could get through the fence and were fluffy and cute. I was horrified later to learn that we ate the adults. I was even more horrified that we sold rabbit meat, after all they let us play and name the cute little babies....Ah well. That is life on a farm.

[IMG] A couple of years ago I thought there was no way I'd ever be able to get chickens and now I have 20, so you never know, circumstances can change faster than you think [IMG] In the mean time I hope you enjoy it here with everyone elses chickens.

It's the dangest think....you don't have to have a chicken to
be a member here. We let you in anyway.

But this place is so hugh...It's not just chickens. It's gardening, or
art, or any number of things. Mainly it's friends hanging out.

    And that makes you qualified.

So come on, look around, enjoy yourself. Might even learn a thing
or two about chickens while you're here.
