chicken manure - sell or give away?

I'm not ever going to give my chicken manure away to someone else to use as fertilizer on THEIR garden; why would I. Too, I have never burned or thrown away leaves in the fall; they do too much good in my garden/vegetables. They hold nutrients and minerals from deep in the soil.

I know I asked if I should give or sell but I found the needs of that community garden and I'm okay with giving it away with no expectations of returns. Nevada has been hard hit by the downturn in the economy (as has most places) and the veggies they harvest may benefit someone who has a greater need than I. Dh & I are very blessed to be in a profession that is stable and growing. Our family doesn't want for anything & there are lots of families who do.

giving poo away is no big deal...

Our local craigslist always has ads for "Free Manure" giveaways.
