This is new to me. Two hens went broody, and kept pushing each other off of the one official nest that the first hen established. Tried separating this conglomerate corporation before anyone hatched and it didn't work. Now we have one chick and two mamas....and I'd rather separate conjoined twins than interfere in their domesticity. Both hens were "talking" to baby and showing it what to eat and so on. They were not attempting to keep baby from each other. And baby didn't run under one hen, it snuggled between both hens. I think the best thing is check on them, keep food and water topped up and let them be....? Here's hoping.
