Chicken Addict
Ok I am curious on how many chicken I actually have here. I read the featured article "Chicken Math 101" but couldn't pass the exam.
We have 16 layers... 4 Sumatra Hens(18 months old), and a Feral hen who lives and lays here as well.
That makes 5 right?
Then come the silkies we have 15 of those but 4 are cockerels. As they are all bantams they count as halfs right? Since only 11 can lay an egg that must be 5.5 chicken, right?
I am sure the 5 1 week old silkie hatchlings cant even make up 0.01 of a chicken so those are free.
So I think the right answer is I have 10 chicken as you never round up.
