Chicken Math! My take on how use it to appear totally sane.

Hi all, I thought you might enjoy this humorous take on chicken math and how that has worked out in my flock over the years. Chicken Math is all about using creative accounting to keep the 'on paper' number of chickens in your backyard or homestead flock to a 'normal person' number. Chicken Math is often used to refer to the phenomenon of how quickly and mysteriously chickens seem to multiply - even though you were sure you were only going to have 3, or 5, or 7, you now have 40 chickens! Use the power of Chicken Math to keep your spouse content and ensure your friends think you are completely sane.
