Welcome! Sounds like you've got a nice assortment of animals. I'd love to see the pictures of the horses if you have any! What kind of horses?

And I know what you mean about chicken math! It hasn't struck me yet BUT I keep looking at the Meyer Hatchery website and threads here etc. And finding a million breeds and colors I want! If it was up to me and I had the room or time I'd probably have like hundreds of chickens

The lack of room is the only reason I haven't yet.

We just built a new coop that they are moving to soon but it's only 4x8 so can only really hold 8 or maybe a few more if I build a big run or free range. So that's the only reason I'm not adding more. Because I know my dad does NOT want to build another one after we just built one

I do regret not building bigger now though.

Maybe I'll build another one myself.

ANYWAY.

I have been working on my chicken math but the chapter in the manual that deals with subtraction seems to be missing from my copy???? Lol I have learned not to try and count my chickens. ...... I just think of them as pens of around 20.... so far I have 7 pens and a few hanging out in the duck chalet..... so only like 30 right?

HAHAHAHAHA! Again.......chicken math!! I do have the subtraction part of it, it usually rears it’s ugly head in the form of owls, hawks, Fox, coyote and who knows what all else
