My husband and I agreed on 4 or 5 chicks, I went to the feed store and they only had 2 left and were getting another shipment the next day. I took the 2 home (delewares) and went back the next day. Well I had 2 of them so I had to pair them right?? I got 4 more, 2 amerucans and 2 marans. Well now we had 6. Upon talking to my husband it wouldn't really be "enough" eggs to feed our family of 5 so he said I could get 2 more. Off to the feed store I went. They had only 3 chicks left. I COULDNT leave 1 behind!! So now we have 3 light brahmas. 9 chicks total. I think I'm a little addicted because I'm trying to figure out how to expand further... Good ole chicken math!!

I love chicken math. You do seem addicted to chicks. I am addicted too. I love chicks so much. I wish I could have more, but I don't want too much. They hens will each lay 1 egg every day, I think you got too many chicks. It is ok though.
