Chicken mites

@Flock Chicken , can you see what sort of cat and dog flea products are available to you in Canada, then let us know what they are? Then we can check the ingredients to make sure they are safe for poultry. The problem with mites is that they can cause severe anemia, and many times they can cause death, so you really need to get these guys off of her and get her moved into a warm hospital cage or box (27-30 degrees c would be ideal).

*UPDATE* I’ve treated the mites but apparently she has bumble feet on both legs that’s why she refuses to walk. I will continue to hand feed her until I feel confident enough to do the surgery myself. And yes I have materials needed for the surgery. Wish us luck!

Oh no! Can you post some pictures of the tops and bottoms of her feet? Curiously, what did you end up using to treat the mites?

sorry responded late I was focusing on her. She is doing great now and is joining the rest of the flock.
