Not a new concept, but a great one if you can build the infrastructure needed.

We were amazed at how well the chickens edged along the fence line of their run so we didn’t have to weedeat that fence line. I could see building a tunnel along the property perimeter at least till we hit a gate. Never thought about doing it around a garden!

The idea is wonderful. I wonder about height. If I had to get a chicken out of the mote would I crawl? (Sick or injured)
I’d raise the whole frame work if I could afford it. Heck I’d wire across the entire top of it all and let them free range
(so to speak) in the
Middle garden area (in winter). I could go crazy!
I love the idea and it looks super nice. I’d absolutely love the 6’ version.

Yeah, I was bummed that adding HC inside 2x4 ww run walls for chick and DL containment kept the chooks from 'weeding' along run fencing...have been tempted many times to do some kind of moat or chunnel to put them back to work there.
