Okay - this is TOTALLY random, but I've had an unexpected side-effect of becoming a chicken owner and thought I'd toss it out there to see if I'm the only one!
Ever since I got the little balls of fluff I have been POSSESSED with this desire to see the movie Chicken Run. I saw it a long time ago and at the time thought, "meh. it's cute but nothing special..." I finally got a used copy off amazon and watched it again. Holy cow! This time around I thought it was hilarious!! Maybe it's just because I now have chickens? But I swear I laughed my tail feathers off and spent a week paranoid that my chickens were plotting behind my back!
And...the other movie on my mind lately is Jurassic Park. I watched it after the toes incident (they went berserk and tried to murder my painted toenails), and of now I realize I've been FOOLED! I didn't get cute little chickens, I got mini dinosaurs!! I didn't build a chicken run, I built a $900 velociraptor pen! Yikes!!
Is it just me? Are there other chicken-themed movies you've been dying to see since getting the flock, or other movies that have a whole new meaning since chickens entered your life?
