Pics
This is so awesome!!! I did not know this thread existed until tonight! To cool!! I love it!! I will be posting some pics soon!! Love all the post and pics!

Hi there mutt lovers!
I was wondering if anyone has any Silkie X Serama mutts?
I used my silkies eggs as counterbalance in my homemade bator and they are developing! I haven't ever SEEN my serama roo mate with her, but hes the only boy out there lol
5 days to hatch!

When they hatch post them I might try that mix to as I only have one serama roo. :)

Thats so exciting! I personally dont have any silkie serama mixes, but my buddy does. They are so cuddley. His have fluffy feet, extra toes, serama body and silkied fluff.

I have 20 potential mutts in my incubator now, due to hatch right around Valentine's Day.

Here's some new photos of my mutt babies from the November hatch.

Chick #2, who I have recently named Kismet.
Her mother is a production red hen, and her father is Gryffindor, our EE rooster.

Dad Mom?

Chick #3. Her father is the above-mentioned EE rooster and a buff orpington hen.

Dad again! Maybe mom?

Chick #4. Father unknown, but his mother is Owlette, an EE hen.

Chick #1. A bantam mutt. Mom is a buff banty cochin, and dad is anyone's guess. I originally thought she was pure cochin, but the distinct tail feathers blew that theory out of the water...

Chick #5 (and #6)
Cinco and Seis share the same mother as Uno--a buff bantam cochin. Cinco's father is unknown, but Seis is undoubtedly the offspring of our bantam lavender d'uccle, Spice.

your flock looks like such great fun! and really nice pics too

Thank you, I certainly enjoy them! There is a small chance that a local town may legalize backyard chickens soon, so I may be able to spread my chicken fever to some new recruits! :D
