I agree I think it would go into the nose, but it moves so it must not be super tight but just right for it to lift and fall as the add says.

where did you fine the hen muzzles?to keep them from pecking?my hen is quite mean.she thinks shes the rooster,and pecks anyone who tries to touch her.Is there really such thing as a chicken muzzle?

I think that the closest thing to a 'chicken muzzle' that is commercially available are the 'Pinless Peepers'.
