I used to know an Australian woman named Pip, and she chatted A LOT, non-stop talk....but because of her accent I loved listening to her no matter what she was talking about. This little Cuckoo Marans talks quietly non-stop. As soon as she sees us she approaches and follows us around chatting in a very girly sweet way. So, I named her Pip =)
The five I have now are" Fluff head, Speckle, Racing Stripe, ( EEs) Raspberry and Florence. ( white rocks) They all kind of named themselves....by the way they looked! We were having a hard time telling the two white rocks apart, until one of them got a raspberry stain on her wing ( hence the name) and we were just calling the other one " the other white girl" and decided she needed a proper name...so she is now Florence.
