This is my first. They are 2 1/2 weeks old. How they grow up fast (haha)

They do!

I would be too busy to remember to take a photo for 2 weeks and then realized how much they've changed.

So hint don't do what I did, lol.

Also an another thread or article I read suggested to take notes, document things.

And it's so true! I didn't then later wondered about what I forgot, hahahaha. In my case if I saw the birds eating a certain bug and then I saw them sick I would forget I saw them eat it

How sweet using your grandma's names, french names for french breeds! It sounds as if you got as much fun out of naming them as you did when purchasing and raising them!

I gave my chickens sports themed names.

My two Speckled Sussex hens are named Walk Off (baseball play when the home team wins game in the bottom of the 9th inning) and Pick Six (American football play when a defensive player returns an interception for a touchdown).

My Blue Andalusian pullet is named Bases Loaded (when batting team has baserunners on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd base).

one of my grandsons just got in a baseball league supported by dodgers! We're so excited for him he's good but still has a lot to learn.

Really, 53? I sometimes wonder how you can remember all the names, but then I think if you're a teacher you'd remember them (names,)

Well I've named one of my newborn chicks Kippiekip which actually translates to chickychick haha. Stole the name from a man on YouTube who called his chicken like that. I found it so funny and cute I named my little chick Kippiekip. It's fun when I call her for dinner, too!!!

How cute! I like it, it makes it easier to call her I bet

Mine have names but I always just call chickie. Oh yeah maybe that's why they don't know them, lol
