Each of our family got to name one of our 7 chickens! I, however, gave them all a fake "registered name". The theme is Coldplay, haha.

My original 4 Easter Eggers were Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo, named after the raptor squad in Jurassic World. Then after Charlie was killed by a predator and Echo turned into a rooster and was rehomed, we got Clever Girl and Char (short for Charlie 2.)

I just added 2 young gold Dutch bantam babies that are tiny compared to the big chickens but love running around with them (and occasionally running away from them,) so they are Ellie and Lex... named after the blondes who were always running away from raptors in Jurassic Park.

What a great idea! So original! I just knew as much as everyone on here loves their Chickens their names would be so much fun to read.

Awesome! I always call mine tiny modern dinosaurs because well to me that's what they are. Little dini omnivores.

We have forty something chickens, but I don't have them all named. I only have a couple of the pretty or tame one named, so here they are.

Production Red Hen. Four years old. Laying.

Buff Orpington Hen. 6+ years old.
4. Olivia
Barred Rock Pullet. 6 months old. Laying
5. Cleopatra and Claire.
Self Blue Modern Game Bantam pullets. Laying. Six months old.
6. Prince

Oh not sure, took me a while to get these names together. Haha! I wanted not only a matching theme, but named them all based on their personality and coloring mostly, as well.

Cocoa is the queen bee, she's my alpha
Mocha is my darkest
Cinnamon is my reddest
Cookie is a total sweetheart
Truffles is my goofiest and the one with the most character, lol
and Caramel is my lightest colored one.

Love them all to death, they are my babies.

OMG How cool. Did you pick the names or did you have help? Is Olivia a singing or a police officer? Just teasing because I don't know any Olivia. Cleopatra & Claire sound so dignified. Prince of course must be very handsome!
