I have a barred rock hen who's name is "Rogue" I have a NEW cockerel (Thanks Mayberry Saint) named "Ceiling" I have three Polish named "Jay Z, Shenequa, and Shenaynay" I have a 1 month old Jersey Black Giant named "Snowflake" and four hens that I just call "the ladies". I haven't named any more yet. Gets hard when you have more than half a dozen...to remember who's who. (well for me it does )

U have a blue/grey splash Silkie named "Ashley", my golden comet named, "Carmen", my turken is called "Turkey-Gurkey"(we tried to name her something else but nothing else stuck)
My Polish has the same hairdo as my husband, who is nicknamed Dink, so the Polish is "Dinkbird", my BIG buff orp is named "LuAnn"...the "other two" don't have names- just don't have a connection to them.
My silver game hen is named Irvine- after Oscar the Grouch's niece...she has an obsession with the trash cans. Likes to get inside them.

and I had two little bitty inseparable seramas named "Cricket and Grasshopper"...but my stupid wiener dog killed Grasshopper.

oh what a fun thing to learn all the names of everyones "girls and boys"

6 RIR's - all girls; the kids named 2 (theirs) DH and I each named one a piece, and then we all flipped for the last 2 names and decided together.

Everyone asks us - how can you tell them apart, they all look exactly the same?! I look at them and say...its chicken love - and they do NOT look the same at all to me..

We have four EE ladies.
One is black with iridescent green feathers and we call her Florentine.
Second one is wheat coloured with black at the tips of her feathers and we call her Quiche.
Third is a reddish-gold colour and her name is Fritatta.
And the fourth is all white and we named her Meringue.

These are all the dishes we'd like to make if only these lovely bearded ladies would give us some eggs. (sigh)
