some of our chicks are named: Marlon Brando, after 2 days, he was bigger then the rest of them, hence the name lol, tinkertoy(the smallest), dapper dan, think he's a polish, wearing top hat, lol

We haven't named our chickens. Does that make us bad chicken owners? We only have 5 and we have never named them. They pretty much All look the same and it is hard to tell them apart. As a joke I was going to name them something that relates to chicken food(like Teriyake, Fried, Fingers, Nuggets, etc.) But that seemed insanely cruel. Sooo - now I just call them all 'chick-chick'. My dogs names are Sequin, Saylor, Scotch, and Flyer. So, maybe that would give you some ideas, I don't know. My favorite places to get names for animals are style magazines(like InStyle) and liquor stores. Shopping and naming is a great hobby.

Danielle, Justine, Louise, Iris and Suzanne are my roos.

Helen, Lola, Melanie, Kirsten, Lily and Corey are my girls.

not as easy as I thought to name my 20 chickens, and Ive had them for a while. These are the only ones who have earned names. poor things.
oh, and my 6 yr old son named his banty rooster turbo drive.

I have a Buff Orp mix - Buffy

3 Black Sex Link - Goldie, has golden feathers around her head and neck. The other 2 are the twins. They looked so much alike at first that we couldn't tell them apart. DH named then Regular and Extra Crispy! Now we can tell them apart by the size of their combs. They are now Reggie & Crispy.
