Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

My son does the chick naming around our house. He seems to be sticking with themes for both flocks so far.

Our flock consist of

1 Turkey - Tom Sawyer

1 Black roo - Doc Holiday
1 Grey roo - Jesse James
2 red sexlink pullets - Reno Blair, and Belle Starr
1 black sexlink pullet - Stagecoach Mary
1 Australorp pullet - Steamboat Lilly
4 White Leghorn pullets - Cheyenne, Delaney, Bessie, and Josie (we can not tell the leghorns apart)

And our second flock consist of

2 Welsummer pullets - Vixey, and Dinky
2 Silver Laced Wyandottes - Widow Tweed, and Dixie
1 Gold Laced Wyandottes - Copper
3 Blue Orpingtons - Big Mama, Boomer, and Squeaks
1 Turkey - Tom Sawyer

We also have new chicks that we hatched 7 chicks. On a Thursday night a black chick was hatched and nothing else til later Friday night, so he named that chick The Lone Ranger. The second chick hatched was also black and he named that one Tonto. The others he is still working on.....

And then we also have a flock of Ameraucana chicks, they are mine and I am naming them.. But I'm still working on that too.

Mine are:

Rockette - half bantam hen
Golden Girl - bantam mix hen
Sparrow - Silver Penciled Cochin bantam hen
Raven - Olive Egger roo
Pepper - Blue Maran roo
Shadow - White Faced Black hen
Little Red - bantam roo
Pipkin - White Silkie bantam hen
OokPik - White Silkie bantam roo
Baby Raptor - Buff Silkie bantam (named by my grandson)
Barbie, Pebbles and Rocky - three Barred Rock hens
I didn't name my 9 Columbian Rocks but usually just call them "girls".

Ameraucana - Dusk, Tawny, Topaz
Rhode Island Reds - Ehu, Rojo
Blue Orpington - Penner (Roo), Opal

My silkie's name was Chickie or Chickpea. That's when we thought it was a hen. Then he started crowing loudly every morning. My daughter says we need to call him "Roo Paul" now. I think we are sticking with "Chickie Roo" Haha

Silkie- Tetley
Silkie- Fifi
mille Fleur D'Uccle- Nutmeg, Mumble, & Pocky
WL- Hope
BL- Charlotte
Mottled Cochin Bantam- Cookie
Buff Brahma bantam- Nebula
Partridge Cochin- Naomi
EE- Sweetie
SS- Atika
Barnie- Ducky
Production Red roo- Robin

Our first flock so we wanted to try a bunch of breeds to see what we liked the best. They're four sets of mixed ages. My DL Barnie is my favorite but she is so LOUD. Yells about everything! Hope and Sweetie are the best layers, laying almost everyday.

I haven't got all of my pullets named yet, so will be taking a look here. :)

So far,

Leghorn..Hops..she would hop, jump up wings flapping, hop, wings flapping, to get around fast. Too funny. I usually name all of my leghorns Miss Piggy, because they are pigs! I usually only have one at a time, but had two this yr. so this one got Hops.

Two EE...Trixy and Pixy

I always name my RSL's ...Reba

My cockerel..Bubba

RIR pullet.. Bella

Just saw a cute name above that I think I will steal.

Pebbles, for my leghorn mix. She has big spots all over her.
