Rooster = Malibu
Buff hen = Martini
White hen = Margarita
Black hen = Madeira



Have a Cochin Bantam family too... but have to get a photo of them to go with their names.. coming soon....

Ok so I may upset a few with some our names lol
We have 2 rhode island reds 1 turned out to be a roo his name is Roofio, the other is Nugget
Our 2 buffs go by Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb
Our 2 sexlings are Louisa and Meep (they named her that at the store because she was so vocal)
We have 2 ameraucanas they are Celeste and Fried
And our mystery chicken supposed to be an ameraucana but looks more like a barred is Emi (she kinda looked like an emu when she was a chick)

Hi,
for me only having 2 birds it was easy. I thought of a theme, in my case what dish uses a lot of eggs to make? Answer Omlette and Frittata. As you can see from the other replies people have gone with what the chicken looks like, any odd habits/behaviours, colours, favourite singer, etc.

I am getting a trio of batter farm hen survivors next week and I am naming them Kip, Eieren, and Bek. They are cute names and in Dutch they mean hen, eggs, and beak. I just typed in hen on google translate and went through some languages till good names came up.
