Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

We have 17 chickens.. but not all of them have names.. Cruella Devil is one of our BSL (She's mean and bites for no reason). Susie, Java and Shirley are our EE. Tina and Goldilocks are Black Copper Marans... The rest didn't appeal to my kiddo's and never got names.

The only one in our flock with a name is our rooster, Abraham. He will be the father of many flocks... His photo is my avatar

i don't know the breeds of my chickens but here are the names and why i named them that.

dead ones:
roadrunner cause he was fast
fluffy cause when she was born she was SO soft
ghost Jr. cause my rosters name is ghost cause their both gray
flap cause when he was little he would flap at you trying to fly in the box

alive:
chipmunk cause when he was born the had a pattern like a chipmunk
chippet for the same reason as chipmunk (chipmunk chippet and roadrunner where triplets)
Oreo cause she is white with black dots in her tail
ghost cause my friend who hatched him for a 4Th grade project said he looked like a ghost cause he was gray
fluffy Jr cause fluffy got taken by a fox and i hatched her myself and i wanted to remember her and they both looked alike
flap Jr cause my friend really liked flap and we got a adult chicken from my cousins that looked like flap

Roxy the barred rock
Rhoda, Ida, Lucy and Manson production reds
Manson has one pupil bigger than the other so she looks CRAZY so that's why we named her that
Jean Luc our French Copper Black Marans Roo
Oprah is our FCBM hen
to name a few

Agatha -- Barred Plymouth Rock
Prudence -- Golden Comet
Mabel -- Easter Egger
Gertrude -- Barnevelder
and
King Alfred, aka Alfie -- (rooster) Old English Game bantam X with a larger, rounder bird

I love how when we talk about our little flock, it sounds like a weekly bridge game of sweet senior citizens!

With lovely solid, older names like this, the bridge games surely must feature gossip a-plenty. And, who brings the apple crisp this week?

that's very interesting because yesterday I just named my D'Anvers rooster Chipmunk. He looks like one with his big poofy cheeks! hehe
