Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

We got 3 gold sex links. Named hermione, Layla and mrs Weasley. We love Harry potter. We also got 3 black sex links. One still needs a name but the other two are lady gaga and bellatrix. My kids named them.

Lady Gaga and Bellatrix, ha! That's great! Ginny would be a great name for a gold/red sex-link. My friend has a Buff Orpington named Molly and a RIR named Lily as well as many other more obscure characters.

Got 6 pullets called vilma the leghorn 3x ISA Browns daphne, Betty and suki barred cross polish midnight and an EE called didi

had another ISA brown called ruby but not with us anymore. Also have a duck called primrose, daisy and cabbage patch

Hey- I have a Wilma, Daphne and Betty too! Betty and Wilma after the Flintstones, since one is a black Australorp and the other a buff Orpington, so kind of reddish "hair". And the other buff Orpington needed a red-hair cartoon name, so we took Daphne from Scooby Doo. When I got them, the guy had named them Black Betty and the Golden Girls. Really, that had to change.

I like those! Especially Snow White. Too bad I already named my white chickens.

When we got our turkey poult, the breeder said his son had been naming theirs Disney names. So on the way home, my daughter and I mulled over a few of those, and came up with "Gaston". But within seconds, we both said "No way- I already have that song stuck in my head now!"

The turkeys ended up being Cranberry and Muffin. I think they are girls.

We have a polish Roo named Einstein, a silkie Roo named Sir Lancelot. The girls are a red named Rosie(she is 10years old) and an Americana named Wolverine (side burns) a frissle named Zelda, the polish ladies are Cruella, Stormageddon ( the black chicken of the apocalypse) and Jessie( she is a loner, and a loner has to be alone.). My son and grandson helped name them as you can probably tell. Lol

We have two Barred Rock hens named Betty and Wilma. Thought Barred Rock sounded a lot like Bed Rock so we went with the Flinstones names as well. Our two Easter Egger's are Laverne and Shirley. Three Bantam RIR's that we are still waiting for our daughters to name and two Black Australorps that are simply called, The Sheila's.
