Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

Our laying hens we only have a few named.
Barred Rock- Anna
RIR-Lucy (Lucille Ball) She is always running around cackling and being where she shouldnt be

Everyone else is hey you

My son named his Brahma "Squeaks "

This is a fun thread. My three buff orpingtons are named Maisy, Clementine and Pollito. We also have an crotchety New Hampshire Red (she could be a RIR we can't tell) we call Mother Clucker

We had such a hard time coming up with names the whole family could agree on...wishing I'd have seen this thread before we got them as there are some very cute and clever names posted! Our girls' names all seem to fit them though.

Betty Barnevelder, Cleopatra cochin (black, Cleo for short), Hannah BR, Isabelle Lt brahma, Dorothy dominique, Sadie Sussex, Ruby Red RIR, Henrietta BO, Maizie Mae marans (BC), Wendy welsummer, Paprika RIR, Rosemary white rock, Sweet Annie Americauna, and Jemima black jersey giant who turned out to be a roo. They all know their names and come when I call them. I guess Jemima will be Mr Jemima, since he knows his name!

We have all buff Orps. Our rooster is named Soup and all the hens are named Omelet, Friccassee, Parm (as in parmesan), Catchatore, Scramble, Poached, Fried, Souffle, Toes (chickens don't have fingers)Potpie, Stew and Grilled Cheese. She is my daughter's favorite and the leader. They're so funny. Soup knows his name.

My daughters black Ameracauna is Venus, her Black Cochins are Circe and
Calliope (or something like that)

We have 18 2 week olds right now. Not all are named.

There are 8 RIR's, of them there is Ruby (The reddest), Faith, Dot, Star,
There are 5 Speckles Sussex the smallest is in here and is Baby. Somewhere there is supposed to be a roo but I haven't found him yet-thinking about Cogburn for him. The last 5 GLW's, in there is Nugget and Nugget Jr. The wife and kids are handling the naming process so far....
