Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

Barred Rock = May
Australorp = Gertrude aka Gertie
Silver Lace Wyandotte = Winnie
2 Golden Comets = Lia & CC
2 Easter Eggers = Sunday & Mocha

I let my girls name most of them.

I asked my husband if he wanted to name one and he said yah 'Sunday Dinner". So that is how Sunday got her name.

We had a rooster named Dr. Pecker. He would peck when we fed him.

We have one that is a black and white striped with rust sploches we call Rusty.


I'm a big anime fan and one of our roosters looked like a hawk so we called him Taka. Japanese for hawk

One rooster wonder out from the hill so we call him Mysterious Rooster.
