My flock has a wide range of names, most of which don’t coincide with the chicken’s gender. For example - Fabio the Silkie hen, and Xena: Warrior Princess the Plymouth Rock roo. But we also have Bobilina and Bob, the two speckled sussex hens. What are your guys’ most crazy, random, creative, or boring names? I’d love to hear them all!

My roosters are the Henry VIII dynasty. I started out with Henry VIII II, but when he died, Henry VIII III took his place.

Oh, and this is Florence Henderson (light Brahma), she has bell bottoms. 1BEC78E2-A0F6-45F9-B6FA-F8DA4927CEDB.jpeg EABCEE84-BC1E-46DB-8A7C-A6D365FD6C36.jpeg

I name the hen the same first letter as the breed, easier for me to remember, I have a friend who would give french birds french names.

Recently there was a LO hen who is flighty and she flew out of my coop and scared me, I had for gotten her name but said, "Geez Louise!" and now her name is Louise.

I gave some strange names to my hens.
I named one Pantaloncina, that in english sounds like (little trouser), cause she always pecked my trousers :gig
I named some of my hens by the eye colour (Giada= Jade; and Arancina=little orange)
I named some of my hens by some traits of their temperament (Vania = vanish)
Some by the feathers color (Ciocca= chocolate; Ambra=Amber)

And then there is Marina, the only chicken remained from my first flock, she's called Marina (thing of the sea), and i don't know why i named her so :old:lau She's 6 yy old :loveShe's in my profile picture.

Of my new flock, mt silkie hen is called Batì (assonance with "batuffolo", that means "wad")
And my two black hens are named Mì and Nuì, that together form Minuit (midnight in french)

these are my names. I hope to name many other chickens in my life :):):):):)
