Id like to see a forum where you can post Funny (or not so funny) Chicken names

theres a place to post first Egg pictures why not chicken names

Hey I think you just did!

I've been trying to think up names for my soon to be shipped 5 little girls but so far all I've come up with would be good for Roos and I keep telling myself....no don't go there....you can't keep any Roos that mistakenly get sent!

So everyone....start the BABY NAMES (or CHICK/CHICKEN/ROO) list.

I like people names for animals. I hate when people name their animals Fluffly or Cuddles ect. All my chickens are names witty thinks like Bob Sam Lucy not that I can tell most of them appart lol

I have a golden sea bright bantam hen, her name is "Ben" we think it fits considering we are from Pittsburgh and she is black and gold.

- I had no idea I'd get so attached to these hens (my first ever)
They are:
Salad - Delaware
Noodle - "
Xtra Crispy - Black Star
Markena - " "
(named for a kid I worked with - he asked me to name one after him)
&
Misty Cologne - Houdan - named for the Drag Name of a friend

Eventually they're going to be:
Hennifer Lopez
Princess Layer
Lindsey Lohen
and whatever we come up with for the last one. So far, it's a fourway tie between Oprah Wingfrey, Ellen DeHeneres, Christina Egguilera and Mother Clucker.

Right now they're known as Righty, Lefty, Bothy and Neither (for the tiestraps around their legs that we use to differentiate them.)

Our rooster is Cocky Balboa.

We have:
Barred Rock hens: Dot, Frenchie and Bandit

EE hens: Gabby, Molly and Pia (Pain In the ____)

Jersey Giant roo: Broken Toe (self explanatory)

salmon Faverolle roo: Fish-head (though we plan to change it too Jerry since his colors remind us of Jerry Garcia)

mottled Java hen: Bessie (she looks like a cow)

and a bunch that are not named yet.
