Chicken names

Penny(everyone has to have a henny penny)
Patty(after my grandmother)
Polly (another bird name I liked)
Priscilla (my best friend in college)
Petunia(a cute name for our sweetest, yet homeliest, chicken)
 
I have Waylon, Willie, Georgetta and Leo, (after DH's grandmothers) and Mable.

Neighbors have: Hank, Lucille, Ruby, Dolly, Porter, Dorothy and Crazy Sue.

-Winner (the first egg to hatch of course!- think kid brain here...)
-Clucky McCluckerson (ummmm yeh, not sure on that one...)
-Bingo! (must be said with the exclamation mark on the end)

They have decided to name the eggs in the bator based on the alphabet and start with 'A' and go on from there. We'll see what 7 year old twins and a 4 year old come up with.

We have 6 chickens that are named after American Girl dolls.

We ended up with one rooster from our spring chickens that was named Rhodie, which turned to Rudy--but being in the city and not allowed roosters, we ended up having him for dinner

I was sad, as he was my favorite--such a pretty RIR. But we knew that would be the case if our 90% chance female failed.
