Hello Everyone!
I am a long time reader of this forum and finally decided that it was time for me join all of you wonderful people. I am a mother hen to four beautiful children, 4 young pullets (2 -23week old, 2 19-20weeks old) and one obnoxious young rooster. I am now at that "waiting" stage for my pullets to start laying. It's been on my mind so much that I'm even starting to have dreams about the eggs they will lay. It's really funny because in my dreams, the eggs they lay are larger versions of those malt ball "Robin Eggs" you always see at Easter with all the different colors and spots. I know my older girls will start laying any time now because they are showing all the signs (except the submissive squat) and I'm just anxious to discover that first egg. So, in the mean time, I'm trying to be patient.
