Chicken newbie here I have a Sick chicken Runny nose, how sick is serious?

I was feeling very worst case scenario before you last post and totally overwhelmed. I thought I needed to act right away. You have been EGG-tremely

helpful and given me hope.

I was already tending them all in that order for protection so that just confirms that for me. She is really a sweet pretty thing and seems fine other wise. I will keep her isolated and continue to monitor her. As far as the other chicks keeping them quarantined was needed anyway b/c of the age/size difference. So that period isn't any different than my original plan

I hope she turns around. We have had over a week of rainy days and now a hurricane threatening us. I hope that it is just something aggravated by weather or stress of trip.

Yes she does still seem "Congested" though not as rattling at this morning. As in she is no longer "Purring" while breathing. Her eyes are not swollen. Still no smell, poo looks good, she seems alert and feeling fine other than a stuffy/ runny nose but no increase in that either and is running clear.

You might want to in the meantime find out in your area how to get a chick tested for infectious bronchitis and MG, two of the possible diseases that she may or may not have.
