Hi! to all you chicken lovers.
Someone should have told me how addictive chickens are. Way too many varieties and so little space!
What started out as a tractor coop with supposedly 3 or 4 chickens, is now a 10 x 10 coop with 5 golden comets, 3 barred rocks, 3 americaunas, 2 cochins, a jersey giant/americauna, a jersey/cuckoo Marans and 2 yes 2 golden cuckoo Marans roosters! One big and one small. I swear the little guy was supposed to be a pullet!! He crows like a bleating lamb so his name of course is "Lambie".
To add to the family, I am mom to 7 cats, 4 geckos, 2 anoles, 5 red eyed green tree frogs, a cockatiel, a quaker parakeet and last but not least 4 ring neck doves.
BYC is the greatest!! Nice people, scads of info and a lot of help when you need it!
