Chicken newbie!

Hello! My name is nichole and I recently jumped into the great world of chickens! I have 6 cutie girls that will be 8 weeks tomorrow. Pidgeotto an Ameraucana, eggzavier a black australorp, king king a barred rock, sunshine a blue lace red, and scotch and soda 2 silver laces. So far it’s been an amazing experience and i love learning as much as I can being new to the chicken world so In my online chicken research I’ve come across this site quite a few times and thought I should just sign up so here I am excited to be part of a community where I’m not the only “crazy chicken lady!” Other hobbies include gardening, dancing, crafts, fish keeping, and I love taking pictures. I live in Washington right on the southern boarder next to portland Oregon, I have 3 boys 15-25, I teach dance (tap and jazz) I also do hair but haven’t since covid started. Life has changed a bit since March but it has given me the free time to finally get a flock and do some things I’ve wanted to do for a very long time.
