Chicken newby

Hi from sunny Uk, are there any other chicken mummies or daddies out there this side of the pond? For the last week I have become the proud mum of 7 new chookies, 3 warrens and 4 Colombian black tails, my life( and our garden) will never be the same again!
The garden has been foxproofed and a large 10x12 pen encloses the coop so we hope to keep our girlies for a long time yet, I would like to grow the occasional flower and have had conflicting information from different websites so have decided to follow just one site( this one) can anyone here in the uk advise about plants, flowers and the garden, we have an enormous doily bank for them to dig in but the one small flower bed holds an attraction( 2ftx 1ft)
