Chicken news...

Most of you probably saw my post about my hen who went broody and hatched out 10 chicks, they are all doing very well and have already got all there wing feathers.

5days old

-Baby blue at 2 days old.

The good thing is that it looks like 8/10 of them are girls

Also i got 2 new hens last weekend, Ethel & Louise:

Ethel: easter egger X polish

Louise: polish mix

And my ex-batt Glenda, im so pleased with how she's doing when i first got her she had hardly any feathers and could hardly walk.

Oh and the secret.....
My other hen has gone broody, but my dad said 'NO MORE CHICKS/CHICKENS' so i just left her, she is in the middle of loads of prickles and there is no way to her, i only found her today and her eggs should hatch in about 4-5days. There is 11 eggs :-X but i will just have to keep it quite that there may be another 11 chicks running about

its to late to take away any eggs now but maybe they wont all hatch.
