What a handsome fellow!

Thank you. He is my tiniest flock member. He is about 2 years old.
Not sure what his parents are but I suspect that his grandmama is his mama too. She is a sebright and he has her tail feathers. He is inbred and sometimes he acts it.

My gang was too cold to do any true acting today, but their half hearted attempts to scare me were appreciated.

She had to lean on the old gazebo parts and then slide ever so slowly down - like someone had shot her….

Then cash also decided she would join her

Cash is getting good at this!

But I told her more leg drama was needed.
She told me ‘it’s too cold to stretch out my legs Hooman!’.

A couple of years ago, I tripped over a hen and I knocked myself out while in the chicken run. Surprisingly, when I came to, I still had my eyeballs.

Holy Dinah - where you ok? Gosh that’s just not funny (sorry but I didn’t laugh after I gasped), but when I was still a Nurse the no. 1 reason for injuries in seniors (breaks, etc) was tripping over pets. Next was mats (tape those edges down!).

Ummmm - was the hen ok?
