I got this lady ( yes I am assuming it's gender) as a chick and it had the markings on head and eyes like a hen ( welsummer ) , and I am mostly sure she is a hen , but that big fat floppy comb has me concerned. If I zoom in on the "hackle feathers ? and cape feathers" the coloration comes to a point but the feather itself fans out and rounds towards the end ? Its legs are similar to the buff and leghorn hens I have as well. I live in the city and roosters are a big time no . I have only gotten two small eggs but think they are from the buff as they are light tan evenly colored and small around ping pong to golf ball size. I may be overly paranoid and I think this may be a mixed breed ? she is very red compared to the pics I have been pulling up. I got her in may of this year

Welcome!
Pretty girl.
Not a RIR, likely a cross-breed.
