I live in Florida. These are my coops. I don't know if this give you any ideas. Again, good luck and have fun... All of the coops are different in ways. The taller coop is more like yours. There is also a vent on the front of the coop too.

Wow! Thats quite the set up you've got! Gives me some good ideas on how to improve my coop for the summer time. My husbands going to most displeased haha
We picked our coops location carefully, its right under a row of large oaks and will be shaded the majority of the day. Its going to be quite the adventure keeping the chickies cool for the summer..

I would open up both triangles of your roof and cover them with HC. That will give you ample ventilation. Your setup looks great, just needs ventilation.
