Chicken not doing so well - advice appreciated!

I thought the same thing - I looked it up in celcius and saw 80-85 is about 26-29 - the room should be about 20 right now (well that's what the heather says) but it might be a little warmer in her box.

20 c is too cold for a sick bird.

I know my parents wouldn't let me take her to a vet so I won't even bother asking - I mean to be honest she'd probably die on the way. I doubt she'll survive the night. It amazing how quickly she went down. Anyhow, I suppose she'll be out of her misery soon enough. I'm not sure she'll last even too this evening, but she'll die as comfortably as I can let her right now.

That's a good idea, and sometimes that's what I do, but they cool off very quickly.
