Chicken not doing so well - advice appreciated!

Is 20C really too cold for an ill chicken? My chickens struggle in 25-30C as it is, panting all the time. I have had EYP chickens make it through relatively cold weather.

To be fair though I live in England and it isn't exactly hot here, so maybe mine are just used to the cold

Ok. I was warming up and swapping tea towel to put over her until my parents came home (around 4:30). I haven't yet seen any improvements, but she doesn't seem worse either. She's still got a towel over her, even if it's not warm at least it may retain some heat. Our family is not expecting her to live until morning (It's 8:05pm here).

She might live longer but she's in a lot of pain.. what usually happens is they end up starving to death, so she could possibly even last another day or two. Please just take her to the vet, its the right thing to do at this point in my opinion

If we are all pretty much in agreement that she is going to die, I think you can either leave her to die, take her to the vets, the stress of which might kill her before she gets put down or give her a warm bath. If she has got chilled and is hypothermic, (sick chickens are prone to hyperthermia) a warm bath will either help her or the stress of it will kill her. Most chickens panic for a moment when they feel the water and then relax once they feel the warmth. A plastic washing up bowl with a few inches of warm water that is just comfortable to put your hand in is ideal. You will need to support her so that she doesn't drown and you can use some soap to gently wash her vent area to clean off the poop. Do you have an hair drier as you will need one to dry her off afterwards or you could even just use the hair drier to warm her up in the box. You will need to hold it so that it isn't blasting her too hard and isn't getting too hot in one spot but just increasing the temperature by a few more degrees.
Whatever you decide, I hope it is not too stressful for you or her.
