Hi
I have purchased white leghorn. The day i brought her at home she gave one egg with soft shell but after that she naver gave egg. I feed her egg shell to have good shell in future. Is it becoz of change of place and change of chicken and food?

Is it becoz of stress?? How to avoid stress of chicken?

Thnx

She probably isn't laying for several reasons.
One being that she was just moved to a new environment, and the stress is taking its toll on her. Second, it is winter, and all chickens lay less with less daylight. Third, is she eating a new brand of feed?
And lastly, how old is she? If she is just a pullet, and is new at this, with all of this moving she will probably be on hold for a couple of days.
And if she is old, she won't lay much at all.

Well, she certainly isn't a spring chicken. All hens' egg production begin declining after their first year. Well, you can't "remove" her stress. She will naturally become more comfortable after a few days though. :)

Does she have any chicken companions?

Ys she have companion.

She just needs time to settle in. I recently added 4 new hens to my flock. The younger two are pullets still, so they are still laying despite the moving stress. The older two are still finishing their molt and won't likely lay for another few weeks.
It's all normal.
