My husband and I, along with our 11 month on and two pups, have recently moved to just under 500 acres. My first investment as a "farm owner" will be some chick a dee's!! I also plan to have some goats, a garden, and some bee hives. I love the idea of having eggs and meat that I know were raised the healthiest and most humane way. I'll be getting my chickens around march of next year and am counting down the days until then! Already learning SOOOOO much on this site.

Sounds like a good life. With 500 ac you will have more than enough room.
