Chicken open and closes mouth

I reckon you'd better get a script then if you suspect worms or your birds will eventually die from starvation, a slow and painful death.
Well now she was doing quite normal, so it could've just been from the heat or something, I'll see tomorrow.
 
At about two to three weeks our girls started doing something similar and still do to a point. I self diagnosed with the idea of worms but after observing that they would do it most after eating pine shavings or other non food items I just figured it was them coping. They still do it a bit but are otherwise healthy!
 
My point was that they were eating something not normal or easily digestible. Have you checked its throat for gape worms? They are rare but who knows.
