Chicken or turkey?

I think my chicken thinks she's a turkey. Today I walked up to her and she fluffed up and spread out her tail feathers. Almost like a broody behavior except she was out foraging. She's my super sweet Australorp so in no way did it come across as an aggressive behavior. Anyone have any ideas?

No just puffed up

She's still a pullet.. Sorry should have said that.. She's about 10 months old.
No rooster. And it was only when I approached her. When I stepped away she stopped. She is very friendly though... She comes when I call and let's me pick her up. She'd stay in my lap forever if I let her.

Maybe she was just grumpy and wanted to be left alone at that time??
