Chicken or turkey

If you open the picture there isn’t really a comb there. That’s what caused the confusion.
There is a comb there. It looks like a pea comb to me even without opening the picture. If a person is only familiar with single combs, I can see how the start of a pea comb or rose comb could be confusing.

My mom has about a dozen baby chicks, and one of them just doesn’t look or act like the others. I’m wondering if she was sold a turkey by mistake, (they sold both at the place she got them). Any help in identifying it? I’ve searched online for an hour now, and since I don’t know much about them I haven’t had any luck.
110% chicken!!! 🐔 🐓

Hi there, welcome to BYC! :frow

I agree for the stated age.. that is indeed a chicken cockerel.. probably why it looks and act different than the flock mates... boys are from Mars! ;)

Unfortunately.. about 10% of pullet chicks are mistaken gender ID's. :hmm
