Chicken or Turkey??

I thought my turkey was a Tom. But either I have a super chicken or he's laying eggs. What do you think?

This doesn't show "her" head very well, but her snood is about 1" long and she has a beard starting that's about 1" long, and I've seen her display her feathers a couple of time, so I really thought she was a Tom! I love her. She's the sweetest bird I have. Oh, plus, she's HUGE.

Hens will get beards, and even spurs. They will also display. I have never had one of my hens gobble though, only my toms.

I don't raise turkeys, but am planning to this spring. I'm not too great at sexing on sight, but I'm pretty confident that's a turkey egg. If you only have the one turkey, I'd say she's the culprit, lol.

Definitely turkey eggs. Here are some from mine. Girls will also display but they usually don't hold it as long as a tom would.
