Chicken Painting... I finally got one done!

I have been Stock-piling pictures & planning on doing this for a while.
I just wanted some paintings of various chickens to hang around the room.
I am also having special cedar frames made for them when they're all done.
I also have to make one of a BIG, Colorful Rooster for the frame-maker

1 down.. 8 to go!

I was worried, this is my first time painting on a canvas but i am super happy with how it turned out

. I think next I will do a polish, since i already have a few sketches done.

I think the painting turned out better than the sketch

I think it turned out great! I love painting on canvas w/ acrylics. Its so easy. I can paint better than I can draw. I think that its easy to correct a mistake when painting. I think it looks great. Can't wait to see a Silkie!!!

I really want to do a Silkie! I just have to find the right brush so that the feathers look right.... I'm excited to get to the silkie one

I was thinking of doing a young one because i've seen so many pictures of babies with the funniest "hair-do's", SO CUTE
